Accessibility of this website

The Magnus Hirschfeld Federal Foundation is committed to making the website www.mh-stiftung.de accessible. The legal basis is the Equal Opportunities for People with Disabilities Act (BGG) and the Barrier-Free Information Technology Ordinance (BITV 2.0) in their currently valid versions.

As a first step, we have started to offer central information about the foundation and its most important projects in easy language and German sign language.

We currently offer the following in German Sign Language:

  • Basic information about the Bundesstiftung Magnus Hirschfeld
  • Information about the “Archive of Other Memories” project

We currently offer the following in Easy Language:

  • Basic information about the Bundesstiftung Magnus Hirschfeld
  • Information about funding projects
  • Information about the “Archive of Other Memories” project (“Collection of Memories”)
  • Information about the “Refugees & Queers” project

In the coming years, the offer in Easy Language and German Sign Language is to be expanded.

After this process has been completed, we will have this website tested by the independent BITV test association.

Arbitration procedure

If no satisfactory solution has been found after your feedback to the contact mentioned above, you can contact the BGG arbitration board in accordance with Section 16 BGG. The BGG arbitration board is responsible for supporting out-of-court dispute resolution in the event of conflicts on the subject of accessibility between people with disabilities and federal public bodies.

The arbitration procedure is free of charge. Legal counsel does not need to be involved.
